The Chain

The Chain, has been produced by Magnum photographer Chien Chi Chang. ‘The Chain’ which documented a controversial psychiatric hospital in Taiwan, where the inmates were tied together in pairs and made to farm chickens. We have worked along side Chien Chi and Trolley Publishing to produce a book. We came up with a design concept to use a concertina pages and by fold the first and last pages into a flat, this would hold book together. This way the book could be taken out and extended into long chain of images.
